Job summary

The Ravin Group seeks a Bridge Engineer Project Manager in Indianapolis, IN to lead bridge projects from concept to plans, coordinating with multiple disciplines. You will perform structural analyses, supervise engineers, prepare construction documents, and support construction with site visits.

A PE license and 5–10 years of bridge design experience are required. Preferred are FHWA bridge inspection training and proficiency with MicroStation/AutoCAD, plus a strong client‑facing communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Indiana or eligible for reciprocity in other states.
• 5–10 years of bridge design experience, including DOT project delivery.
• Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Manual.
• Proficient in technical writing and client communication.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage bridge projects from preliminary design through final plan delivery and client coordination.
• Perform structural analysis and design using hand calculations and software tools.
• Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and drafters on transportation structure design.
• Oversee the preparation of construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits for inspections, design verification, and construction support.
• Collaborate with in-house teams across disciplines such as roadway, drainage, survey, and planning.
• May assist with bridge inspections, bridge condition reports, and load ratings.
