Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer based in Waterloo, IA. The position is expected to begin in December 2026 or May 2027. You will develop analytic and design skills, perform engineering design under supervision, and produce drawings and calculations under guidance.

A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and a valid US driver’s license are required. Relocation and sponsorship are not offered. This is an on-site role in AECOM's Transportation line, based at 360 Westfield Ave, Waterloo, IA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
• As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient with Civil 3D and/or Bentley ORD.
• Experience with Iowa DOT or SUDAS is an advantage.
