Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct soil density testing using nuclear gauge and sand cone methods.
• Support geotechnical inspections for foundations, earthwork, and site development projects.
• Monitor geothermal drilling and loop installation activities.
• Verify materials and construction methods comply with project plans and specifications.
• Perform QA/QC inspections and identify non-conforming work or materials.
• Prepare daily field reports, test results, logs, and photo documentation.
• Communicate field observations and project updates to engineers, contractors, and project teams.
• Coordinate with site personnel to support successful project execution.
• Maintain accurate and organized project records.

This is a hands-on, field-based opportunity ideal for bothEntry-Level Graduates And Experienced Professionalslooking to build a career in the construction and engineering industry. You'll work alongside industry experts on active construction sites, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across a variety of projects.

Daily travel to job sites is required. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors and in active construction environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Queens, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $40.00/hr.
