Job summary

DLZ Corporation is hiring entry-level Civil Engineer/Surveyor/Construction professionals in Indiana. You will apply foundational knowledge across civil, structural/bridge, surveying, and construction disciplines under experienced mentors.

Responsibilities include supporting projects, preparing reports and drawings, performing field testing, and ensuring safety and quality on site. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required, with FE certification encouraged within one

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (e.g., surveying or construction management).
• Relevant internship experience is highly preferred.
• FE certification, or willingness to obtain it within one year of hire.

• Assist in preparing reports, cost estimates, and technical studies.
• Perform field testing of soils, concrete, and other materials.
• Prepare detailed sketches and diagrams for use by technicians.

• Document all project activities clearly and concisely.
• Ensure all work is performed in a safe and responsible manner.

Position: Civil Engineer/Surveyor/Construction Professional

We are looking for new college graduates to fill entry-level roles in multiple disciplines for offices in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Munster, IN. We have opportunities available in:

• Civil Engineering
• Structural/Bridge Engineering
• Surveying
• Construction Services
• Water Resources
• Transportation

In this role, you will apply your foundational knowledge to a variety of engineering and design assignments. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and receive hands-on experience in your chosen field.

Key Responsibilities:
