Job summary

DLZ Corporation is seeking entry-level Civil Engineer/Surveyor/Construction professionals to join offices in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Munster, IN. You will apply foundational knowledge across civil/structural/ surveying disciplines under experienced mentors.

Responsibilities include supporting projects, preparing reports, and performing field tests on soils and concrete, while gaining hands-on experience and advancing toward FE certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (surveying/construction management).
• Relevant internship experience preferred.
• FE certification or plan to obtain within one year of hire.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to safely navigate construction sites.

• Support engineering, construction, and design projects within your area of expertise.
• Assist in preparing reports, cost estimates, and technical studies.
• Perform field testing of soils, concrete, and other materials.
• Prepare detailed sketches/diagrams for technicians.
• Review and check detailed drawings and layouts.
• Document all project activities clearly and concisely.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and responsibly.

Position: Civil Engineer/Surveyor/Construction Professional

We are looking for new college graduates to fill entry-level roles in multiple disciplines for offices in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bend, and Munster, IN. We have opportunities available in:

In this role, you will apply your foundational knowledge to a variety of engineering and design assignments. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals and receive hands-on experience in your chosen field.
