Job summary

A community infrastructure solutions firm in Fargo is seeking an entry-level Design Engineer (EIT) to join their Municipal team. In this role, you will assist in design and construction activities on municipal projects and require a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
• Prior experience in either infrastructure design and/or construction observation.
• Working knowledge and skills in CAD and design software.
• Possess a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers with design and construction activities on municipal projects.
• Perform basic design computations and prepare preliminary reports.
• Assist with project plans, specifications, cost estimates and quantity take-offs.
• Conduct construction observation and documentation.
