Job summary

Sprott Newsom in Houston, TX is seeking a recent law school graduate, a pending bar examinee, or an attorney with 0-2 years of experience for hands-on courtroom and deposition experience under mentorship. You will work directly with seasoned partners on insurance defense, commercial litigation, and first-party property cases.

Responsibilities include case management, drafting motions and pleadings, courtroom appearances, and targeted legal research.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas, or awaiting November 2026 Texas Bar Exam results.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
