Job summary

GAMARC Consulting in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Attorney specializing in insurance defense to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of insurance defense experience, is licensed to practice in Texas, and in good standing with the Texas Bar.

You will handle high-volume cases, conduct research, draft pleadings, and represent clients at depositions and mediations, while delivering timely updates and collaborating with attorneys and paralegals.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar membership.
• Minimum 5 years of insurance defense experience.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with case management software.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including personal injury and property damage.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Develop and execute case strategies from inception through trial or settlement.
• Attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Provide clients with regular updates and legal advice.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to manage cases.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure CLE compliance.

Description

The client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney with a minimum of 5 years in insurance defense. The ideal candidate must be licensed to practice law in Texas and be in good standing with the Texas Bar. Additionally, candidates must have completed the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in insurance defense cases, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and professional liability.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Develop and execute case strategies from inception through trial or settlement.
• Engage in pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings, including depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Provide clients with regular updates and legal advice, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records and documentation.
• Stay current with developments in insurance defense law and fulfill all CLE requirements.
