Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA is hiring for a Full-Time, Second Shift (3pm-11pm) position. You will perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of APIs and finished pharma products, operating multiple analytical instruments with minimal supervision while ensuring GMP documentation and method transfers are properly executed.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in chemistry and authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products.
  • Run instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer, UV/Vis, various wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto‑titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus
  • Prepare samples for analysis and run some instrumentation with minimum supervision
  • Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
  • Prepare standards and samples for analysis
  • Execute method transfer protocols
  • Document work as required for GMP compliance
  • Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment

Job Description

* Applicants MUST have authorization to work in the United States INDEFINITELY without restriction or sponsorship *

Employee Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, and gels)
  • Run the instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer (Coulometric and Volumetric), UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto‑titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus
  • Preparing samples for analysis and running some instrumentation with minimum supervision
  • Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
  • Prepare standards and samples for analysis
  • Execute method transfer protocols
  • Document work as required for GMP compliance
  • Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly‑related experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Must be able to speak well to technical lab skills

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full‑Time, Second Shift, M‑F 3pm‑11pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
