Job summary

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing North America is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform comprehensive analyses of pharmaceutical ingredients. You will operate various instruments and prepare samples while ensuring compliance with GMP standards. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry and strong communication skills.

Job description

Overview

Join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing pharmaceutical innovation. In this role, you will perform comprehensive physical, chemical, and instrumental analyses of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished dosage forms—including tablets, capsules, injectables, liquids, creams, and gels. Your work will directly support clients in the development and regulatory approval of a wide variety of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare solutions, standards, and samples for analytical testing
  • Operate a range of laboratory instruments, including HPLC, GC, IC, Karl Fischer titrators (Coulometric and Volumetric), UV/Vis and IR/FTIR spectrophotometers, disintegration testers, and dissolution equipment
  • Process and interpret analytical data, comparing results against client-provided specifications
  • Execute and document all laboratory work in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • 0-2 years of industry experience
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full-Time, Second Shift, M-F 3pm-11pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. 25% travel may be required. This position is not remote.
