Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA is seeking a laboratory analyst to perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analyses of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products. The successful candidate will prepare samples and operate instrumentation in a GMP environment.

Applicants should hold a chemistry degree and have authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship; position includes full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field required.
• Authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Lancaster, PA area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products.
• Run chromatographic systems including HPLC and other techniques.
• Prepare samples and run instrumentation with minimal supervision.
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department.
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis.
• Execute method transfer protocols.
• Document work as required for GMP compliance.
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Job Description

*Applicants MUST have authorization to work in the United States INDEFINITELY without restriction or sponsorship*

Employee Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, and gels)
• Run the instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer (Coulometric and Volumetric), UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto-titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus
• Preparing samples for analysis and running some instrumentation with minimum supervision
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis
• Execute method transfer protocols
• Document work as required for GMP compliance
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
• MUST have authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Applicants currently local to Lancaster PA preferred
