Job summary

Arkema is hiring an entry-level Chemical Engineer I Associate to support manufacturing operations, process optimization, and environmental compliance.

You will work with operations, maintenance, quality, safety, and engineering teams to improve plant processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and foundational engineering expertise will be developed through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate processes to support safe, efficient production.
• Analyze operating data and trends to identify improvements.

• Help implement process improvements and best practices.
• Participate in process improvement, capital, and productivity projects.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and assist engineering evaluations.
• Support project development, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Support health, safety, and environmental compliance initiatives.
• Promote safe work practices and a strong safety culture.
• Complete learning curriculum and development plan.
• Develop proficiency in engineering methods and manufacturing processes.
• Apply chemical engineering principles to achieve objectives.
• Utilize process simulation, control tools, and data analysis.
