Job summary

Arkema Inc. is seeking an entry-level Chemical Engineer I Associate to support manufacturing operations, optimize processes, and contribute to environmental compliance initiatives.

You will work with operations, maintenance, quality, safety, and engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance while building foundational engineering expertise. Travel is expected to be less than 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• Site-required safety training.
• Process safety and environmental compliance training.
• Internship, co-op, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to support safe, efficient production.
• Analyze operating data and process trends for improvements.
• Support troubleshooting of process performance, reliability, and product quality.
• Assist in implementing process improvements and operating best practices.
• Participate in Process Hazard Analysis reviews and safety initiatives.
• Develop proficiency in engineering methods and manufacturing processes.
