Chemical Engineering Intern — Plant Process & Safety

Zusammenfassung

The Arkema Group is offering a summertime internship in our chemical manufacturing environment. The intern will gain hands-on experience, collaborate with multiple departments, and participate in projects aligned with their field of study while developing an understanding of P&IDs, engineering calculations, and safety culture.

Selected students will present project work to site leadership, receive regular feedback, and work within a safety-conscious team environment at various U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Successfully completed at least 2 years of degree program.
• Strong preference for 3.0 GPA or above.

Aufgaben

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality. (15%)
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and safety teams to resolve technical issues and improve plant operations. (15%)
• Conduct research and analysis to evaluate new technologies and process improvements. (15%)
• Prepare reports and presentations on projects and process improvements. (15%)
• Assist engineering teams with project related needs. (15%)
• Understand, support, and comply with all plant safety policies and procedures. (15%)
• Other duties in support of manufacturing operations and processes as well as taking advantage of opportunities to enhance learning in field of engineering and professional development. (10%)
