Job summary

OxyChem is seeking an entry-level Loading Technician to support daily loading/unloading operations at the New Johnsonville facility. The role works with the Logistics Supervisor and Lead Technicians, with opportunities to transition to a 12-hour shift Operations Technician as openings arise.

Ideal candidates possess a High School diploma or GED and show strong math, reading, and mechanical reasoning skills, along with a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED completed.
• Proficiency in math and reading comprehension with problem-solving skills.
• Able to read, write and speak English; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform loading/unloading tasks for tanker trucks and railcars per SOPs.
• Monitor loading/unloading stations for compliance and safety.
• Maintain documentation related to DOT regulations and procedures.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and safe; assist with maintenance preparations.
• Support Emergency Response Team duties and participate in safety meetings.
