Job summary

Tedia is hiring an Entry Level Chemical Manufacturing Operator for the 12-hour day shift in Fairfield, OH. This full-time, on-site role includes hands-on training in filling, sampling and batch manufacturing with emphasis on safety and quality.

Starting pay is $20 to $25 per hour based on relevant experience, with employer-funded medical insurance, an HRA and HSA plan, and 401(k) matching. Prior chemical manufacturing is not required, only hands-on work experience.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of consistent work experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on settings.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Basic math, mechanical curiosity and attention to detail.
• Dependability, teamwork and clear communication.
• Confidence to ask questions and stop work when needed.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or regulated production is a plus.
• Earn $20 to $25 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, clean and dismantle filling and production equipment.
• Fill bottles, drums and totes accurately by written instructions.
• Support chemical blending, material transfers and batch manufacturing.
• Collect in-process samples and learn to use basic testing instruments.
• Clean tanks, pumps, reactors, columns and related equipment as required.
• Assist experienced operators with reactor charging and advanced tasks as you qualify.
• Complete production, cleaning and material records accurately.
• Handle materials and waste per safety and environmental procedures.
• Maintain an organized work area and voice safety concerns promptly.
