Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Front-End Team Member to keep the checkout area running smoothly and warmly. You will assist customers, scan items, bag groceries, and handle transactions while maintaining accuracy and a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced retail environment.

Your day includes restocking, organizing the front end, and responding to questions with a helpful attitude. Prior cashier experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 16+ or 18+ depending on local/state requirements.
• Completion of cashier/front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience by scanning items, bagging groceries, and answering questions.
• Process purchases accurately with cash, card, and digital payments.
• Maintain front-end organization, restock as needed, and manage checkout area cleanliness.
• Balance registers and handle pricing inquiries with attention to detail.
