LS Solutions in Ohio is seeking an entry-level chassis design engineer to develop chassis parts and systems that meet performance, quality, reliability, and cost targets, delivering value and enjoyment to customers.

You will model parts in CAD (CATIA) and create 2D drawings, collaborate with design, testing, manufacturing, and suppliers, and participate in cost reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Overtime may be required; occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience; co-op is a plus.
• Proficiency in CAD (CATIA V5/V6) and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Apply engineering principles to achieve design goals.
• Coordinate with design, testing, manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers.
• Create project schedules and share progress with the team.
• Review costs to ensure alignment with design intent and provide solutions.
• Model parts and systems in 3D (CATIA) and generate 2D drawings.
• Communicate development updates and share best practices.
