Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking Class A CDL drivers for dry van freight along the East Coast. Expect about 2,000 miles per week, home every two weeks, and day/night dispatch with mostly drop-and-hook loads. You'll train with a driver trainer for 4 to 6 weeks before going solo.

During training you earn $650 per week, then $1,000 per week guaranteed for 3 months after your first solo dispatch. After that, average weekly gross ranges from $1,000 to $1,400, plus mileage pay of $0.55–$0.65 and $15 stop pay,

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL, 21+.
• 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school, or 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Clean driving record with no major preventable accidents in 5 years and no DUI/DWI in 5–10 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate dry van freight along the eastern seaboard.
• Deliver about 2,000 miles per week with home every two weeks.
• Coordinate with day and night dispatch; use drop and hook where possible.
• Maintain safety and compliance per DOT regulations.
