Luzerne County seeks a full-time County Social Services Aide to provide supportive services to children, youth, families, and individuals with various needs in the Wilkes-Barre area. Under supervision, you will perform entry-level social services and case management duties and assist in navigating community resources.

The role involves home budgeting guidance, scheduling interviews, and documenting activities. It is a union, permanent position with set hours and regular supervision.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with at least 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.
• Two years experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 or equivalent.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training accepted by the agency.

Responsabilidades

• Perform entry level social services and case management duties.
• Assist clients and families in resolving social, health, emotional and economic problems.
• Document activities and services using designated agency methods and reports.
• Attend and participate in case reviews and supervisory conferences.
