Job summary

Eleven Western Builders in California seeks motivated Entry-Level Carpenters who want to learn the trade, develop new skills, and build a long-term career in construction. You’ll work alongside experienced carpenters on retail projects across the Western U.S., gaining hands-on experience in framing, millwork, and finish carpentry.

You’ll receive on-the-job training, safety instruction, and clear opportunities for advancement into Carpenter and Lead Carpenter roles, with competitive hourly pay

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction, carpentry, or related trade experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn carpentry and construction methods.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Installation of retail fixtures, displays, décor packages, and millwork.
• Installation of wall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and accessories.
• Assisting with framing, drywall, rough carpentry, and interior finishes.
• Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing construction materials.
• Loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Learning to read plans, layouts, and project drawings.
• Safely operating hand tools and power tools.
• Supporting project teams in active retail environments.

We are looking for motivated Entry-Level Carpenters who want to learn the trade, develop new skills, and build a long-term career in construction.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Entry-Level Carpenter, you'll work alongside experienced carpenters and foremen while gaining hands‑on experience in a variety of construction scopes, including:

• Installation of retail fixtures, displays, décor packages, and millwork


• Installation of wall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and accessories


• Assisting with framing, drywall, rough carpentry, and interior finishes


• Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing construction materials


• Loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools


• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area


• Learning to read plans, layouts, and project drawings


• Safely operating hand tools and power tools


• Supporting project teams in active retail environments

What We're Looking For
