Job summary

Eleven Western Builders in California is seeking motivated Entry-Level Carpenters who want to learn the trade, develop new skills, and build a long-term career in construction. You will work alongside experienced carpenters on retail projects across the western United States, gaining hands-on experience from day one.

Ideal candidates have some construction exposure, basic tool knowledge, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction, carpentry, or related trade experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn carpentry and construction methods.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Install retail fixtures, displays, décor packages, and millwork.
• Install wall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and accessories.
• Assist with framing, drywall, rough carpentry, and interior finishes.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials.
• Load, unload, and organize materials and tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Learn to read plans, layouts, and project drawings.
• Safely operate hand tools and power tools.
• Support project teams in active retail environments.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Entry-Level Carpenter, you'll work alongside experienced carpenters and foremen while gaining hands-on experience in a variety of construction scopes, including:

• Installation of retail fixtures, displays, décor packages, and millwork
• Installation of wall panels, trim, doors, hardware, and accessories
• Assisting with framing, drywall, rough carpentry, and interior finishes
• Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing construction materials
• Loading, unloading, and organizing materials and tools
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Learning to read plans, layouts, and project drawings
• Safely operating hand tools and power tools
• Supporting project teams in active retail environments
