Good Day Farm is seeking an entry-level Post Harvest Tech I to assist with cannabis post-harvest processing. You will help with hanging, bucking, trimming, sorting, and moving material, while following SOPs and maintaining a clean, compliant workspace.

The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include quality checks, assisting harvest operations, operating bucking machines, and identifying defects for removal.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cannabis cultivation and post-harvest processes is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control on Conveyor Line: Perform quality checks on cannabis batches as they move along the line.
• Harvest and Drying Support: Assist in harvesting and drying, prep drying rooms and equipment.
• Machine Operations: Operate and maintain bucking machines and assist with burping/takedown processes.
• Quality Control and Defect Identification: Learn to identify defects like mold or pests and remove afflicted product.
• Cleaning and housekeeping: Clean totes and equipment as part of daily tasks.
