Job summary

Transcat in Chesterfield, MO is seeking an entry‑level Technician Trainee to learn calibration techniques in our lab environment. You will work under supervision, develop practical skills, and progress toward a Technician Apprentice role within six months.

Responsibilities include learning calibration processes, performing measurements with guidance, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Strong math and basic tools knowledge are helpful; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn new skills regarding calibration and calibration processes.
• Previous experience with electronic or machining training is helpful.
• Basic mathematical skills including algebra, geometry, and statistics.
• Familiarity with basic tools required.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook is expected.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamental calibration techniques under supervision in the lab.
• Develop skills to perform calibrations independently over time.
• Fulfill duties safely and in line with company requirements and standards.
