Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services is seeking an entry-level technician for an Operations role within the Artificial Lift product service line. Under direct supervision, you will test and repair downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment, receive cable, and perform basic tests.

This position emphasizes learning and applying company HSE policies. You will also complete paperwork for inventory or field shipments and begin to learn cable splicing as you gain experience in a global energy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Basic reading and writing skills required.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, tests and repairs downhole cable for submersible pumps and motor equipment.
• Receives cable and conducts basic tests.
• Performs basic repairs and learns splicing of cable.
• Completes paperwork to send cable to inventory or field.
• Employee is expected to learn applicable HSE policies and apply them in duties.
