Job summary

PAE is seeking an entry-level Building Performance Specialist in Seattle to support high-performance HVAC design, greenhouse gas analysis, and renewable energy studies. You will bridge simulations with real-world construction, using Revit, AutoCAD, TRACE and IES across the project lifecycle.

You will learn mechanical system design, attend to drawings, specifications and building codes, and contribute to district planning and engineering distribution under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering for discipline work; EIT or ability to obtain.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and engineering analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand mechanical system design, modeling and documentation.
• Provide task-based support for building performance analyses and HVAC systems.
• Perform greenhouse gas analysis and renewable energy system studies.
• Design mechanical layouts and district planning concepts.
• Develop drawings, specifications, and adhere to codes and standards.
• Contribute to construction administration and project deliverables.
