Job summary

PAE is seeking an Entry Level Building Performance Specialist in Denver to contribute to sustainable design, greenhouse gas analysis, and high-performance HVAC projects. You will join project teams, translating simulations into real-world construction and supporting district planning from early stages through construction administration.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with Revit, AutoCAD, TRACE and IES, coupled with strong analytical skills, organization, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required or in discipline work for internship
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain
• Revit/AutoCAD, TRACE, IES experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of mechanical system design, modeling and documentation
• Provide task-based support for building performance analysis, greenhouse gas analysis, renewable energy systems, and district planning
• Design layout of mechanical systems using Revit/AutoCAD
• Perform mechanical calculations and performance simulations
• Assist with construction administration and project documentation
