Job summary

Southland Casino is seeking a full-time Cook to join our kitchen team in West Memphis, Arkansas. You will prepare guest orders, follow recipe guidelines, and work with the serving team to ensure timely, high-quality meals.

The position offers an hourly wage of $15.00–$16.00 with weekly pay, plus benefits including training opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible schedules. No diploma required; minimum 6 months related experience is preferred, and candidates must be able to stand for long

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months related kitchen experience.
Ability to read and understand recipes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Follow supervisor’s assignments for food production and prepare food and beverage products for guests by following recipe guidelines, using proper preparation techniques, and sanitation guidelines.
Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment according to correct procedures, as well as keeping workstations clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
Work cooperatively with team members and management.
Follow supervisor’s assignments for opening and closing procedures.
