Job summary

Mutual Materials Co in Parkland/Tacoma, WA is hiring a Counter Sales Representative. You will be the first contact for contractors and walk-in customers, helping them select materials like brick, pavers, blocks, and more.

Training is provided to build product knowledge and customer service excellence. You will assist with showroom and warehouse operations, process sales orders, and support inventory checks.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience in building materials industry preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with computers and basic mathematical skills.
• Experience with masonry products a plus.
• Forklift experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and phone support to contractors and customers.
• Learn and share detailed product knowledge to guide customers.
• Prepare sales orders and handle cash/credit transactions; basic data entry.
