Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical in Clifton Park, NY is seeking an Entry Level Building Management System Engineer/Designer to help execute BMS/EPMS design tasks for mission critical projects.

You will work with a mechanical team under senior engineers, interface with disciplines, and learn to use Revit while developing your skills. This is a full/part-time/open internship opportunity with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology.
• Past internship, co-op, or work experience in a consulting engineering role is a plus.
• Experience using Revit in educational or professional context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Autodesk Revit to produce detailed design documents.
• Assist with designing systems network topology.
• Build an understanding and create one line diagrams.
• Learn how to select and specify BMS equipment.
• Meet project deadlines and work necessary hours to complete major deliverables.
• Review local and national construction codes and project specifications.
