Job summary

Jobtailor in San Ramon, CA is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to respond to service calls, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on basic biomedical equipment. You will drive customer satisfaction through service excellence and support customers in hospitals and clinical settings.

Document all repair actions, submit reports on schedule, maintain parts inventory, and coordinate with vendors while adhering to GEHC-style policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or associate-level degree in biomedical equipment technology, or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
Solid knowledge of electronic digital circuitry and electro-mechanical devices.

Responsibilities

Respond to service calls to evaluate, diagnose, repair and perform PM on basic biomedical equipment.
Drive customer satisfaction through service excellence.
Support customers in hospitals and clinical settings.
Document all repair actions and submit reports according to schedule.
Maintain approved parts inventory.
Manage vendor service delivery processes in compliance with GEHC policies.
Enhance and maintain knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures for safe use of medical equipment.
