Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a biomedical equipment technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair medical devices across our California/Northwest service region. You will diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and ensure adherence to GE policies and proper documentation.

You will communicate with customers, provide timely follow-ups, and collaborate with the local team to ensure efficient service delivery, on-call coverage, and compliance with all safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree, military education, or participant in GE HealthCare Biomedical Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED with 2 years experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to work after-hours or a rotating on-call schedule including weekends
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment
• Evaluate basic customer biomedical equipment issues, implement appropriate repairs
• Follow GE policies and complete necessary documentation
• Maintain daily communications with customers for resolution and proper follow-up
• Work as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery
