Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Biomedical Technician I to support safe, effective operation of medical equipment across the organization. Qualifications

• Required: Associate's Degree Biomedical Technology (BMET) or Electronic Engineering.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree Biomedical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Receive, assemble, and inspect new medical, surgical, and research equipment.
• Provide maintenance and technical support under direct supervision.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment to support safe and accurate operation.
• Troubleshoot electronic, electromechanical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Document all modifications and general equipment maintenance per SOPs.
