Job summary

enBio Corp. is seeking an entry-level Biomedical Technician to maintain, service, calibrate, and repair a limited scope of clinical equipment under supervision.

You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with installations, and ensure documentation is accurate in the CMMS. Ideal candidates will have an AAS or Biomedical Technician certificate, possibly military biomedical training, and strong communication, safety, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of medical equipment, human anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and repair techniques to perform equipment repairs.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance procedures on low/medium risk medical equipment.
• Possess the skill to utilize tools and test equipment required for job duties and responsibilities.
• Adherence to confidentiality requirements and safeguarding of protected health information (PHI).
• Competent in using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for documentation.
• Basic understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to medical equipment management.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance procedures on assigned medical equipment.
• Assist with installation, calibration, and repair under supervision.
• Document work in CMMS and maintain accurate service records.
• Coordinate with supervisors and healthcare staff to ensure service standards.
• Follow safety, confidentiality and PHI rules during all tasks.
• Support cross-functional teams to uphold compliance and quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities related to equipment management.
