Job summary

Microbial-Discovery-Group-1 is seeking an entry-level associate to support bioprocess operations in fermentation and downstream processing. You will work under supervision to load, set up, and harvest bioreactors, handle slurry products, and ensure accurate labeling and traceability in a GMP environment.

The role requires following SOPs and batch records, maintaining safety and quality, and contributing to production documentation and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and data entry.
• Basic math and documentation skills.
• Physically active with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Familiarity with cGMP, HACCP, FSMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, setup, and harvest of bioreactor tanks per SOPs.
• Handle slurry and labeling with traceability controls.
• Operate basic production equipment safely after training.
• Record production logs and cleaning documentation timely.
• Support sanitation and inventory housekeeping.
• Follow safety, quality, and site procedures consistently.
