Job summary

mdgbio in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level biomanufacturing technician to support fermentation, drying, and downstream processing of spore-forming bacteria. You will operate basic production equipment under supervision and maintain GMP documentation.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to SOPs, HACCP, FSMA, and cGMP. You will work on-site in a fermentation production area, join a collaborative team, and contribute to audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; associate degree a plus.
• Ability to follow SOPs, batch records, and safety procedures.
• Basic math, data entry, and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading, setup, and harvesting of bioreactor tanks.
• Operate scales, freezers, tray washers, and basic equipment after training.
• Maintain production records and comply with GMP/HACCP/FSMA requirements.
• Support cleaning, sanitation, and inventory organization.
