Convivial Brands Elc Inc in Wyoming, MI is seeking an Entry Level Bindery Machine & Treatment Operator Level I to set up, operate, and troubleshoot bindery equipment to meet daily production and quality goals.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read work orders, basic math, and the willingness to work day shift in a manufacturing environment. Training provided; cross-training opportunities available within the print shop.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of solid work experience operating industrial equipment preferred.
• Experience in the printing industry is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate bindery equipment such as buckle folder, saddle stitch, cutter, or sheet laminating.
• Feeds, stocks, moves, jogs, arranges, unloads, and rotates items on/off bindery and/or finishing equipment in accordance with operating instructions.
• Understands different paper weights, sizes, kinds, and colors to identify paper conditions.
• Cuts the paper for their jobs.
• Monitors quality and performs all required testing and makes any equipment adjustments necessary.
• Performs housekeeping and preventative maintenance duties on all machines and work areas.
• Reads and understands work orders, layout sheets, and other specifications prior to starting the assigned job.
• Completes all work timely and accurately.
• Cross trains in other areas of the print shop.
• Performs other duties as assigned by direct Supervisor.
