Sheridan Grand Rapids is hiring a Manufacturing Operator - Bindery and will train you to run high-speed bindery equipment. You’ll start hands-on, learning the job while contributing to book and print production. A reliable teammate with basic math, reading orders, and quality focus will fit well.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret work orders and related documents.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and use basic measuring tools.
• Willing to learn and operate bindery equipment with safety in mind.
• Strong team player with reliability and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Feed books into machine.
• Learn to interpret the information on the work order and its contents.
• Safely move materials/books to and from workstation.
• Perform hand operations as required.
• Safely operate trimmer.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
