Job summary

Citi is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker in Los Angeles, CA, supporting the execution of sales and service activities in coordination with the customer service team.

You will work on credit requests under $250K, grow the small business client base, and cross-sell treasury and related products while building customer loyalty and delivering an outstanding client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• NMLS registration and Safe Act compliance preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests under $250K, recognize/refer larger lending opportunities and cross sell treasury and related small business products
• Build referral opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the MGM Program
• Assist in strategies to grow the small business client and implement sales plans for Book of Business customers
• Deliver client services and outbound/inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones while cross-selling products
• Coach Tell ers and branch staff on products and programs, identifying client needs and referrals
• Educate clients on service channels and digital tools, presenting product offers and financial solutions
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with Citi policies and controls
