Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with autism spectrum disorder and similar developmental delays in Wilmington, NC. The role centers on implementing behavior plans, documenting progress, and supporting clients in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience with children in roles such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
