Job summary

BTA in Richmond, CA is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to work with children aged 3 to 16 in home-based and center settings. Shift: Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–8:00 PM, with optional Saturday sessions based on client needs.

You will implement play-based ABA, follow individualized treatment plans, collect data, and help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills while maintaining a safe, engaging environment and collaborating with a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance under your name, plus a reliable vehicle.
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and working on the floor throughout the day.
• Able to stay active and engaged while working with young children.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children ages 3 to 16 using play-based ABA therapy.
• Follow individualized treatment plans and collect session data.
• Help children develop skills through play, movement, games, and hands-on activities.
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children.
• Collaborate with a supportive clinical team to help each child reach their goals.
