Job summary

City of North Myrtle Beach is seeking an entry level Beach Services Assistant to support daily operations on the oceanfront. You will place and remove equipment, organize chairs, umbrellas, and lifeguard stands, and perform basic repairs to maintain equipment in good condition.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have reliable transportation to the Beach Services warehouse. Prior customer service experience is preferred, and duties may include assist with off-season programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Entry level position.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience in customer service related field preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to get from Beach Services warehouse to the beach.

Responsibilities

• Place and remove equipment from the beach.
• Organize equipment (chairs, umbrellas, and lifeguard stands) in the Beach Services warehouse.
• Repair chairs, lifeguard stands, umbrellas and other beach equipment.
• Perform additional warehouse work as directed.
