Job summary

CornerStone Staffing in Dallas, TX seeks a detail-driven Bankruptcy Specialist I to join a growing legal services and loan servicing team. This entry-level role offers structured training and a clear path for advancement in real estate law and foreclosure operations.

You will review legal documents, enter data, file notices, and coordinate with courts, vendors, and internal teams. The position is full-time, temp-to-hire with hybrid potential after training and a pay rate of $21–$23 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with mortgage or Bankruptcy
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with CaseAware, BKFS LoanSphere, or Sagent Tempo is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review legal documents for data accuracy
• Enter and validate Bankruptcy data in internal systems
• Coordinate and file Notices for Bankruptcy and related pleadings
• Communicate with courts, counties, vendors, attorneys, and internal departments
• Respond to escalated inquiries and ensure timely documentation in client systems
• Ensure compliance with time lines and guidelines from clients, investors, and regulatory bodies
