Hy-Vee is seeking a friendly Bakery Clerk to join our bakery team. You will greet customers, help them find baked goods, and keep displays neat and inviting.

You’ll handle light prep, stocking, and simple register duties, all while upholding Hy-Vee’s standards for quality and service.

Qualifications

• Basic math for simple counting and point-of-sale reconciliations.
• Clear, friendly communication with customers.
• Stay organized in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide outstanding service at the bakery counter.
• Assist customers in locating products and taking special orders.
• Check product freshness and replenish items as needed.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish baked goods for display.
• Maintain sanitation and a tidy work area at all times.
• Operate the department register and handle payments where applicable.
