Job summary

Hy-Vee's bakery team is hiring a friendly, customer-focused Clerk to help keep the bakery stocked, inviting, and efficient. You will assist customers at the counter, help prepare and replenish baked goods, and maintain a clean, sanitary workspace in a fast-paced environment.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; you will learn product availability, order accuracy, and safety procedures while supporting fellow team members and delivering a welcoming customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly at the bakery counter and assist with product selection.
• Help prepare, replenish, and stock baked goods and maintain product freshness.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace and equipment.
• Operate the department register and process payments where applicable.
• Collaborate with teammates to deliver a smooth, positive customer experience.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards, and store policies.
