Job summary

Jiffy Lube International in Bellingham, WA is hiring a General Service Technician to service guests' vehicles and deliver high-quality work. You’ll participate in our training program to certify in all services offered and grow within a supportive team focused on guest experience.

This entry-level role requires a customer-facing attitude, teamwork, and the ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of customer facing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effective communication to interact with guests and teammates.
• Strong work ethic, dependable, and a team player.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Promote teamwork to deliver on time and accurate guest care.
• Provide clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Ensure that the service center is clean and presentable.
• Assist and support junior technicians as needed.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels and check tire pressure as necessary.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Maintain safety protocols and follow company policies.
