Job summary

Goodyear is hiring an Entry Level Automotive Technician in Honolulu, Hawaii. You will gain hands-on experience in auto service centers, learning basic automotive tasks while delivering outstanding service.

No experience required; you will be trained on mounting/balancing tires, oil changes, and preventative maintenance. We offer competitive pay ($16–$23 per hour) and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, 401(k), and tuition assistance, plus opportunities for rapid career

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry.
• Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred (education).
• Experience in automotive preventative maintenance or formal automotive training is a plus (preferred).

Responsibilities

• How to complete basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, and filter replacements.
• Train with mid and senior level automotive technicians to learn additional services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service and clear communication with customers.
• Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and maneuvering tires and wheels.
