Goodyear Auto Service in Honolulu is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician. You will gain hands-on experience learning to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in automotive preventative maintenance or formal automotive training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, tire repairs, and filter replacements.
• Train with mid and senior technicians to learn additional services.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication about vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods.

Job description

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $23.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. As an Entry Level Automotive Technician, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service.

Experience isn't required for this position. You will be trained in any skills required. We encourage you to allow us to invest in your success as you invest in ours.

Shift Information

Depending on location, our stores may be open 7 days a week, which may include weekends and some holidays.
