Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Kahului, Hawaii is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to learn hands-on basic automotive services, including tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, and preventative maintenance.

No prior experience required; training provided. You will work with experienced technicians in a fast-paced setting, gain shop skills, and contribute to guest satisfaction while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Willingness to learn basic automotive services and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with basic automotive services such as tire mounting, balancing, and repairs.
• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Participate in vehicle inspections and shop safety practices.
• Deliver excellent guest service and communicate clearly with customers.
• Work with a team to meet shop goals and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
