Job summary

Rogers Motors in Lewiston, Idaho is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our full-time team. You will perform basic maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles with a hands-on approach and a focus on doing what is right for customers and the community.

Responsibilities include inspecting fluid levels, checking tire air pressure, lubricating moving parts, draining and refilling oil, replacing oil/air filters, and participating in multi-point inspections with the team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Good judgment.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.

What You’ll Do

The Entry Level Technician performs basic maintenance and repairs to customer vehicles.

Your day may include:

• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles.
• Check air pressure of tires.
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
• Spray leaf springs with lubricant, using spray gun.
• Add water to radiator and battery.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Complete multi‑point inspection with team member.
• Act in a professional manner at all times
